Happy Tuesday

For our monthly challenge (I have to say that I love being a part of a challenge group-it really motivates me to get scrappy), we were to use 3 sheets of paper and to use either stickles, glimmer mist or glitter somewhere on your project. I used 2 papers from MLS and 1 sheet from making memories. I also sprayed my velvet flower with marshmallow glimmer mist (my all time favorite) and sprinkled some glitter onto the flowers. And even though I only needed to use 1 of the 3 sparkly products, I used all 3- there is never enough sparkle in life! I used stardust stickles on the vintage image.


Here's a close up of the flower and my box-pleated paper (love this technique- it reminds me of lace and fabric, except it's paper!)

Contest at MLS

Hearts and Kisses

Hi there. I feel so inspired and scrappy ever since having returned from CHA. Oh my goodness- these women are so stinkin' talented!!! So of course, I just had to get scrapping. I'm also really excited about a class that I'm teaching at Scrapbook U in Fremont, CA. It's a really cute mini book featuring Bo Bunny's Love Bandit line (it's on Tuesday, Feb. 9). I just had so much fun creating it. I used lots of lace, glitter, ribbon and bling.

January Challenge

For the month of January, our challenge was to make one layout and 2 cards using 3 sheets of any type of scrapbook paper from your stash and we needed to use some sort of chipboard, glitter or stickles, felt of some kind, and paint. I made this layout and these cards using the Postcards paper line by Making Memories.

Just Add Butter

I was such a lucky girl- I was able to play with Just Add Butter. What's that, you say? Well, it's only one of the 6 new lines that My Little Shoebox has released! You haven't checked us out yet. Okay, I'll make it easy for you- here's the link http://www.mylittleshoebox.typepad.com/ . So this little beauty is pink and girly and sweet as sweet can be. These are my goodies.

Away We Go!!

Oh my goodness!! Have you checked out the new release from My Little Shoebox? (www.mylittleshoebox.com) It is awesome!! So, for CHA, I was lucky enough to get to play with the Away we Go and Just Add Butter lines. Oh my, what a treat! I made these goodies from the Away We Go line. I have to say, I figured that it might be a line more suited for boys, but no way! This line was so much fun to use for girls pages too!

My Little Shoebox CHA release

Hi ladies (and gentlemen- don't want to forget anyone). Happy New Year!! Hopefully, 2010 is traeting you all well so far. So, I know that I mentioned that MLS was sneak peaking all 6 of their new lines on Januray 1st on the blog (www.mylittleshoebox.typepad.com) . Did you guys check it out? So cute, isn't it. Well, I just had to show you all how adorable the new lines are. There really is something for everyone!
