Hi everyone!  I have a little bunny basket that I made for Easter using the luscious papers from the Arcadia range.  I'm always the one that creates  place cards or goody baskets for my family and I just fell in love with this idea.
We also swapped product with Therm o Web.  They have such awesome adhesives for every crafty job that you may have.

After cutting the paper to form the base of my basket, I cut strips of a coordinating paper from the Arcadia range and wove it with the base of the basket.

I used my forever favorite embellishment- the Decoupage packs to add some beautiful dimensional flowers.  I wanted to make my baskets beautiful and elegant, but I also needed them to be easy to recreate since I needed one for each family member.  The Decoupage packs make that possible.

Here is a closeup of the weaving that I did.  It actually took very little time to do.

Kinda Krafty Birdhouse

Hi everyone.  I have a little birdhouse to share with you today featuring Ruby Rock-It Bella! Fundamental's new range- Kinda Krafty!
I took one look at this paper and thought- cute Birdhouse!  Strange how our brain works, right?
So, I sat down one evening ans started making patterns for this little house.

I used a border punch to make strips of paper for the roof.  Between the papers and the Fundamentals Accent pieces, I was able to make this cute little tag for the roof.

Here are some close-ups.

So, if you have hopped here from Erin Yamabe's blog, then you are right on track!  Don't you just love what she created with the Kinda Krafty range?   Here is a bell jar that I decorated using our newest range- Kinda Krafty.   The Kinda Krafty line is just that- beautiful, fun images printed on Kraft paper (my favorite)!  Kraft paper is just such a basic, neutral paper color that works with absolutely everything and is a must have for all scrappers.

I made this cute tag using  Journal It paper from the Kinda Krafty range.  There is also a sheet called Tickets- very cool because I used that paper for this cute ticket.  I love that one side has tickets with cute words or phrases and the back side is blank so that you can customize your tickets any way your heart desires.

Easter Tags using Mother Nature and Therm o Web

Hi everyone.  I have a couple of tags to share with you  that I created for Easter using the beautiful Mother Nature range.  I am always drawn to all things pink, but Mother Natures's soft blues, creams and soft patterns are just too gorgeous!!  This month, we also were able to work with Therm o Web's wonderful line of adhesives!  Therm o Web has every adhesive you could ever need to create beautiful paper crafts (sewing projects as well).

I printed a couple of vintage Easter images to use on my tags.  The Mother Nature range is just perfect for layering, glittering and creating vintage inspired paper crafts!

The flowers that I used in the upper right hand corner was simply cut from the Harmony paper.  I used some wonderful Foam squares from Therm O Web to add some dimension.  Their Foam Squares have a slightly higher dimension than other brands, which helps make your project pop that much more!

On this tag, I used the Quilling Kit from the Mother Nature range to make that adorable paper flower.

I used the iCraft adhesive sheets with my cardstock to die cut the doily on this tag.  If you ever have unusual shaped papers to adhere, these are a great way to make sure all of those intricate cut papers stick exactly how you want them to. WIth a smudge of brown ink and some glitter, this little tag turned from sweet to beautiful.

Sweetie Sprout Mini Album

Hi everyone.  I have a mini album to share with you featuring the Sweetie Sprout Mini Album from Punky Sprouts.  I decided to create a mini album to store fond memories and love notes to my family.  I think sometimes, with all of the hustle and bustle that we call life,  we forget to let those in our lives know just how special and loved they truly are.  So I figured, it's about time that I record those feelings and document some of my favorite moments of our lives!

If you know me or have taken one of my classes, you know that I love all  things vintage.  This sweet little album was just begging to be covered in pink anything, lace and vintage!

Here is a close-up of the cover.  I covered the alphabet letters with glitter to soften the look and make them work better with the feel of the album.

I used Maya Road envelopes for the back of each page.  This is the perfect way to tuck my notes away.

There are 2 acrylic pages in this album.  They are a little hard to photograph, but I hope you can see the bracket shape of this page.  Remember to mirror as much as you can when working on an acrylic album.  Or if you plan on letting the back sides of papers show through to the opposite side of the acrylic page, make sure to hide your adhesive :)

I love the canvas pages and am tempted to embroider on them all!  But, I was able to have a bit of self control and ruffled some crepe paper instead.

Here's a close-up of my medallion.  They are so easy to make with Punky Sprout's Lil' Blossoms in parchment.  I just folded the parchment round in half, then half again, and then I just kept folding it over and over again until I had a wedge that was about 1/4" wide.  I cut out the center of the wedge, and assembled my medallion.  You might want to try it some time, you just might like how easy it is (and you don't need to score and measure a strip of paper).
