Hi everyone!  If you have arrived here from Erin's blog- you are right on track!  If not, please start at the Ruby Rock-It blog and make sure to leave a comment on each blog!  I have a layout that I created using Card making supplies.  Wait a minute, did I say a layout with Cardmaking supplies?  Yup....we are featuring the wonderful Fundamentals Card Making supplies over at Ruby Rock-It this month and I figured, why not, lol!
This is my Dad-  he is so cute!!

I used the Fundamentals Imprints card bases to create the background for my layout.  I swiped some ink over the embossed portions of the card front and then I stamped onto the backside of the card.  I cut the card front from the card back and used those as the background of my layout.

I used the beautiful embossed Bella! cardstock to make these flowers.  Bella! Bling stickers make the perfect centers for these sweet flowers!

Here is a close-up of the background as well as the Vellum that I used.  Some crazy stitching perfectly finished off the look.

  1. WOW - what a fabulous idea to stitch the embossed card bases to make your background Pattie - it looks awesome, as does your layout!!!
So many other things that I need to mention, as I need to try them too, like punching the embossed cardstock, I have used it on cards but never punched it out before; and your gorgeous vellum doily ... looks like I will have to keep an eye out for these pretty sheets, as I have only been using the small ones with the silver dots => thank you for the inspiration :)
