Thank you Cards

Hi everyone.  It's that time of year to start sending out thank you cards for all of the sweet gifts we receive during this holiday season and I have a couple of cards that are sweet and simple to create.

This first card has a little tree that is really easy to make using a hand held punch (it's a branch punch by EK Success- sorry i don't remember the actual name), some Ruby Rock-It bling and some a little patience.

This card was created with the Fundamentals Decoupage sheets.  I absolutely adore these embellishment sheets.  Quick, easy, yet elegant and they truly dress up any project.

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone out there!!  It's Pattie.  I have  a little project to share with you today.  Every year I get to make place cards for my family during the holiday season.  I usually create something entirely out of paper, but this year I went in a little different direction.  These are cute, festive and can be altered to hang in the tree next year as ornaments.

I made the tree for this one out of the Fundamentals Vellum.  I had a lot of fun making a "bottle Brush tree" out of vellum and it's not that difficult to do.  I just cut mini slivers with a pair of scissors and wedged the strips between 2 pieces of thin wire.  Then I twisted away until I had something that could be trimmed into a triangular tree shape.

Then I decorated a Fundamentals tag and tied it all together with some ribbon.

Dad's is the same concept, except I used a store bought Bottle Brush tree.  This is a good idea if you have many name cards to create.

I hope that you each have a wonderful day with loved ones.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Cards, cards, cards

Hi everyone!!  I have a sweet set of cards to share with you today.  I used the beautiful Bella! Mini Ranges and the oh so adorable products from our swap partner this month Freckled Fawn.

This card with all of it's buttons and ribbons makes me happy.  The Bella! Baby Boy range has such sweet papers that can be used for any project, not just baby projects.

I used the Freckled Fawn felt doilie  and a washi tape border as the perfect accents for theis Bella! Mother Mini Theme card.

And lastly, I made this sweet card combining both the Bella! Baby Boy and the Bella! Mother Mini range papers.  I made a washi tape flower and the sweet wood chips embellies to brighten up this card.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone!   Happy Thanksgiving to all.  I hope that you are all having a beautiful day, enjoying your families.  I have a little home decor project that is perfect for today, Thanksgiving, but really is perfect all year long!

I used the Bella! Yellow Fusion range to create this paper pieced pumpkin.  I just hand drew the pumpkin on a sheet of paper and cut apart each piece to use as a pattern piece.

I took a strip of Sugar Candy card stock and wrapped it around the handle of a paintbrush to create the curly vines on my pumpkin.  Pretty simple way to craft with supplies you have on hand.
And here is a close-up of the pumpkin.

Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving!!  And have a slice of pie for me, lol. Thanks for stopping by!  Happy scrapping!

I stamped the French Music stamp onto the Bella! My Romance papers to add some interest to the background.

I stamped  the Blizzard and heat embossed the image on white cardstock to create some interest in the snow.

I used the shabby Rose mold to create this little rose embellishments.  I am so amazed and impressed by the quality of the WOW Embossing powders, stamps and moulds!!

Decorative Fall Banner feauturing Handi Scandi and Heritage from Ruby Rock-It

Hi everyone!! I have a fall banner to share with you today. It's perfect to decorate your home this autumn season.  I love fall and I love the holiday season and can't think of a better way to decorate my doorstep than with a festive banner.

I used the beautiful Heritage Paper and the new Handi Scandi range to create my banner and leaves. The colors are warm and inviting, perfect for Autumn!!

Here are some close-ups of the banner pieces.  I love making medallions as a foundation for the letters.  It adds that extra oomph and gives a nice uniform look to the banner.

Happy Halloween!!!

Hi everyone!!  Happy Halloween!!  Pattie here to share with you a sweet and not too spooky Jack-o-Lantern I made using Ruby Rock-It papers and a plastic jar.

I just love the way this turned out.  I used a few papers from the Bella! Year in Review range and the Country Cooking range and cut out some leaves and flowers with a die.  Sometimes you may find a paper that has the most perfect print, but may not be quite the right color or shade that you are looking for.  I say, go ahead and use it!!  That's what I did with these papers.  I loved the prints, so I decided to ink them up and add some glitter.

Here  is a close-up of the leaves and flowers.
